Words packaged as Freedom Stones include:
Freedom, Hope, Strength, Courage, Faith,
Believe, Service, Integrity, Bravery, Imagine,
Honor, Remember, Peace and Gratitude
Our Goal:
To get a Freedom Stone into the hands of all military personel on all bases in the U. S.
and around the world, in VA hospitals and hospices, and their families too.
Here’s how:
- Give Freedom Stones to everyone you know in the military here in the U. S (and their families too)
- Send Freedom Stones to the troops that you know in Iraq or Afghanistan.
(If you don’t know someone personally, you can find qualified lists of soldiers, airmen, seamen, and Marines to send to by going to anysoldier.com which has a database of over 150,000 military names and addresses so you can send a package to someone in Iraq or Afghanistan)
- Spread the word—tell your friends to join you in sending to someone overseas, in hospitals and in
hospices.
- Ask your local gift stores to carry them.
Our commitment:
To give 10% of profits from the sales of Freedom Stones to organizations that are aiding any military
deployed in war zones, and to the returning veterans and their families to aid them
in re-entering society in a healthy and meaningful way.
Two of these are: anysoldier.com and veteransvillage.org
Some service men and women receive Freedom Stones as they are deployed or as part of their basic training. Often, the stones are used to give comfort those who have lost loved ones in Iraq and Afghanistan. Here are a couple of stories:
“I teach and prepare soldiers who are readying to deploy to the battlefront and I’ve found your stones to be very effective in building strong, cohesive teams. They have built incredible closeness within a team and a battle-buddy readiness, and they have cultivated direction and focus for individual soldiers. Your stones have changed soldier’s lives forever and I will continue using them for the duration of my career and beyond. Thank you for what you’ve done!”
--James M., Staff Sergeant, U. S. Army Reserves
“Your stones are comforting.” Nadia McC., A Gold Star Mother of a soldier killed in Iraq has said,
“I’ll tell you this. First, know that your stones have been all over the world. Second, they have made a big difference in a lot of peoples’ lives. And third, know that you are doing your part for those who area fighting this war.”
--Jeff B., Colonel, U. S.Air Force
